  1. Most diets don't work because they are restrictive and people don't like to be restricted for a long time. The healthiest way to lose weight is to eat lots of nutrient-dense foods, aka whole foods (veggies, eggs, meat, fish, fruit, etc.). Start eating one-ingredient foods and you'll consistently lose weight without feeling starved or deprived.

  5. Stop drinking soda and fruit juice, drink water. Get exercise. Eat 4-5 small portions throughout the day. Never skip breakfast. Be diverse in your food intake. Don't stick to only one type of food. In my experience, I found that taking sugary drinks out of my diet was a great way to start. That was the hardest part for me but once I got used to it, the rest came much easier.

  7. Saturated fat isn’t bad for you as long as you’re not taking in refined carbohydrates and sugar. There’s also a small fraction of the population that’s genetically predisposed to not processing saturated fat well. Other than that, it’s perfectly fine. You need saturated fats and cholesterol. They’re precursors to many of your hormones.

  9. I personally don't believe in diets to lose weight. I agree that you have to avoid food that is not healthy like fastfood, sweets, etc. But most of those diets also restrict you from eating some types of healthy food, while your body needs a variety of those healthy foods. The most important thing is that you have to gradually adjust your eating habits to more healthy food. Your body and mind both need time to get used to these new habits. There is also one thing I miss in all those diets to lose weight: physical activity. If you want to lose weight, a combination of healthy eating habits and exercise is necessary.
