  1. as a sign of gratitude for how my husband was saved from stroke , i decided to reach out to those still suffering from this. He was stroke and it was really tough and heartbreaking for me because my family had spend all money they had, the symptoms were terrible, he had diAfficult speaking , and always complain of muscle weakness and balance disorder . we tried various therapies prescribed by our neurologist but none could cure him. I searched for a cure and i saw a testimony by someone who was cured and so many other with similar body problem, and he left the contact of the doctor who had the cure to stroke . I never imagine stroke has a cure not until i contacted him and he assured me my husband will be fine. I got the herbal medication he recommended and I used it and in one months he was fully okay even up till this moment he is so full of life. stroke has a cure and it is a herbal cure contact the doctor for more info on drokosunmusa@gmail.com or Whatsapp him on +2349056175191 on how to get the medication. Thanks for reading my testimony

  2. I had a stroke in 2008. At a rehab center, Matt, giving the therapy and exercise, was like a Marine drill instructor. He got us UP! NO excuses! We had to eat with our non-functioning hand, if any. When the therapists left the room, people would start eating with their other hand they were so hungry. But we got caught! In one week, I was no longer in a wheel chair.
THANK YOU Matt and all others who will not accept that we stay disabled!!! This video is terrific!!!

  3. Great animation!

As a Speech Pathologist working with this population, I want to clarify our role. The speech pathologist is the initial person to assess and treat patients with swallowing difficulties (very common following stroke) as well as communication problems. However, Speech Pathologists always work collaboratively with the dietician to ensure the patient is receiving adequate hydration and nutrition via oral or non-oral methods.

  4. the video is not too bad. But the lady is talking quite fast wich does not allow for the brain to properly take all the information in. Wich is why i unliked this video. If you have valuable information, you must make sure you take the timpe to explain it so that it can be digested and understood in real time .Hope this comment is being taken in consideration for the next informational videos .

  5. I twitch my neck many times a day, i have headaches as well from the left back of my head to the neck….its been like this on and off many years….could this be a sign of upcoming stroke?

  6. This video neglects to mention the first line treatment for Large Vessel Occlusions, or LVO, which is a common subset of Ischemic Stroke.  Clot busting medications do not do well to break these large clot burdens alone, and so endovascular surgery is the first line treatment based on clinical data.  Endovascular surgery, or endovascular thrombectomy as it's called, involves minimally invasive surgical techniques where doctors travel up into the brain through arteries and use catheters and stents to grab the clot that is lodged in the vessel causing the Ischemic Stroke.  This technique needs to be included in this video.

  10. these people are good. But I hate it when people talk about a brain or a heart I feel like im gonna have a heart attack or a stroke. Its weird. I want that fixed but I don't know if that can be helped. Also I get small pains as if I was having one but, they dont hurt much. Usually its an ache.

  11. it seems my uncle died two weeks ago from the clot kind of stroke. is it common for a stroke victim to die within minutes ? the girlfriend said it was just like he fainted mid sentence was a likely dead before ambulance arrived.

  12. Very good – excellent illustrations, clear wording and good to have the written captions too. My only comment is the healthcare team – why is the doctor a man and the other healthcare professionals female. There are male occupational and physiotherapists, male dieticians, speech language pathologists etc. just as there are female doctors. That being said, it is a valuable tool to use in education about stroke and stroke prevention. Thank you.

  13. Sometimes in my sleep I have seizures and when I come too, my speech is slurred or I can't speak at all. When I try to walk I stumble around as if I'm drunk. Is this stoke related?
