Another way to solve 2(x+2)=8..(6:53 if you want to check it out)

Would be to multiply 2 and x and then do the same for the +2 leaving you with 2x+4=8 subtract 4 from each side leaving you with 2x=4, then just divide 2 on each side getting the final answer of x=2.

Gemdas

Thank you i have an algebra test tomorrow ❤️❤️❤️

Easier way to remember order of operations:

GEMDAS

G= GroupingE= ExponentM= MultiplicationD= DivisionA= AdditionS= Subtractionab + cd = 10

a=1

b=1

c=3

d=3

ab = 1

cd = 9

ab + cd =10

x = 10 🙂

I'm still confused though. What about a question like 13-4x=5?

He teaches this better then my teacher. Like fr.

I’m autistic

Order of Operations:

Please = Parenthesis

Excuse = Exponents

My = Multiplication

Dear = Division

Aunt = Addition

Sally = Subtraction
